Navin Narang
Managing Member
Mr. Narang serves as the Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of FPH Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm. He is a born entrepreneur starting his first successful company at the age of 19. Mr. Narang offers a background that encompasses more than 2 decades of experience in entrepreneurship and private equity. He continues to enjoy a career that has included building, acquiring, and operating multiple mid market companies, developing real estate, and producing movies. Under Mr. Narang's direction FPH continues to acquire, organically grow, and build companies that become market leaders in their respective industries. His passion for business and life attract some the most talented individuals to lead FPH's various entities. Mr. Narang has also utilizes his investment expertise to continually make strategic investments that routinely outperform projections. He lives by the principals that hard work and passion drive success, and this success is eminent at FPH.
When Mr. Narang is not hard at work with the FPH companies he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 daughters, fly fishing, and surfing. He has served on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Orange County / Inland Empire for 15 years. Served as Vice Chairman for 2 Years, and now serves as the Chairman of The Board. He routinely speaks at events sharing his knowledge and passion for entrepreneurship and business. Mr. Narang resides in Southern California and in Manhattan, New York.
James Wynne
Partner / Chief Financial Officer
James Wynne joined FPH Capital Partners in 2018 as Partner and CFO. In that role, he oversees all aspects of finance and strategy for FPH and its portfolio company including operational roles with FinServ and RSVP Loans. Mr. Wynne brings a deep knowledge with more than two decades of experience in financial services, media, tech, and alternative investments.
Prior to joining FPH, he worked as a Senior Consultant with Alpha Strategies Investment Consulting advising start-ups, venture capital funds, strategic investors, and family offices on how to identify and source opportunities. Mr. Wynne has sourced capital, advised on M&A transactions, and driven business development deals for clients with leading media clients including Disney, Fox and NBC Universal. Before business school, he worked as an executive at the William Morris Agency, advising Fortune 500 companies and global brands including General Motors, Hilton Hotels and the NFL. He was responsible for devising and implementing strategies to integrate marketing platforms with cable and network television programming and digital media. James holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Scott Ferguson
Partner / President, RSVP Loans
Mr. Ferguson is the co-founder and President of RSVP Loans, one of FPH Capital Partners’ portfolio companies. He has three decades of experience in consumer lending, with the majority of his time spent in the underserved and subprime segments. Prior to RSVP Loans, Mr. Ferguson held various management and strategic positions at top-tier financial services companies including Think Finance/Elevate, FICO, Wells Fargo, Capital One, and MBNA America. FPH Capital leverages Mr. Ferguson’s niche experience in unsecured consumer underwriting and decision engine technologies. Mr. Ferguson holds a B.S. in Economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
When Mr. Ferguson is not managing credit risk he is busy managing risk on the track where he is a nationally ranked BMX racer.
Alex Dorn
Director of Operations
Alex Dorn is the Operations Manager for FPH Capital Partners where he oversees all technical integrations and product management for portfolio companies including FinServ and RSVP Loans. Since joining the firm in 2017, Mr. Dorn has used his deep industry knowledge and extensive network of contacts gleaned from his previous work with Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Fidelity National Financial to spearhead all aspects of operational expansion and team leadership across FPH. Mr. Dorn graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship & Management.
